That’s an interesting beetle - I think it’s a stag beetle? Has some heavy duty jaws there for chewing on wood.

@thewatersphotos @cocokinetic I am not so familiar with correct names but just did research and it looks like he is Dorcus parallelipipedus. Found by translation to English - Lesser stag beetle.
