Nature inspires. I don't understand how, at 11 degrees Fahrenheit, sempervivum tectorum, or "always living" looks just like it does in summer. Not to mention that it's growing out of a brick with about a spoonful of dirt! At closer look, you can see the baby "chick" just as heartily enjoying the brief sunbath in my side garden.
