frozen

Frozen in time, the simplicity of a a single droplet coming from an icicle done with manual focus and no tripod. My last attempt for the "slow down" theme of the week.
Love this ice sickle looks like a blade

Wow -- this is a fantastic capture and just a beautiful shot! How long were you waiting between drops to capture? It's incredible.

@taffy thanks so much Taffy. I didn't have a lot of time, as my daughter was yelling at me to come inside, but the fact it is warm-ish and rainy today meant the drops were coming pretty quickly. I wanted your macro lens though!

Hi Michael! You've got me thinking about what I'm going to come up with this week that's red and pink and not-too-Valentine-y. Should be fun!
For you, I'm thinking I would love to see some kind of cityscape - if you live in a small town, then something very architectural. I will leave it to you to choose color or b+w. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! have fun.
