There was a distinct possibility the new Tokyo Sky Tree was going to be closed due to high winds the next day when we had a reservation, so we trekked out to go up the Shinjuku Metropolitan Building and were treated to views like this. I just couldn't get past the feeling of how buzzing and alive the city felt at night with the myriad of building a twinkling lights.
