undulations

I was trying to capture a pomegranate differently by not focusing on the alluring arils, and instead that little "beds" that they rest in. They have this beautiful, translucently shiny, pearlescent quality. Nice. See my other album for another shot.

If I'd known that's the part you were focusing on I have wouldn't have ripped so much of it off to discard so you could see more of the arils! What a beautiful part of the pomegranate that never gets attention, except when you photograph it!
