I have this scroll hanging in my bedroom that I nearly forgot was there. I tried to think of how to portray it in photography - what would be my angle? I used my macro to get a nice DOF, such that I felt like the ink actually pops off the page. I also chose a small part of the whole scroll to really get a sense of the texture of the ink on paper.
