My daughter spotted this scarlet tanager in our garden and I tip-toed out to grab my camera only to be frustrated that I had my 100 on the camera and was behind a screen. It is far from a great shot, but I've never seen one in my yard in 10 years, and I was just happy I got a shot.
I caught a glimpse of this brilliant red bird on the latest page and had to comment. I don't know much about birds but, this little guy is a beauty. I'm so glad you caught a photo of him--great find!
