flower field by amida pond

This is a lovely spot near the peak of Komagatake (see http://365project.org/vankrey/or-this-one/2014-06-26 ) where a field of alpine flowers sit next to a pond. I can only image how it changes as the summer months progress. Amida is a term for the principle Buddha in the Pure Land sect of Buddhism.

@wind_of_the_sothern_sea thanks Arefin - it was a beautiful place for quiet reflection. not a lot of people, yet (on the way down, hordes of tour groups were heading up, though!)
