long stem small cap

I see a lot of mushrooms on PP - must be that time of the year. There were at least three kinds in my front yard alone who were all saying "photograph me." I noticed upon close inspection how beautifully patterned the gills of this mushroom is.

DoF is perfect here, and the brown "sticks" at the bottom so three-dimensional against all the bokeh background.
