Quick trip to Japan and back (jk), actually Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL. Impressive - exceeded my expectations. With new lens in hand I spent far too much time with my ever-patient family while I shot away (and away, and away).

Love the way the tree branches interact in space, and that background promises a fairly authentic Japanese building -- in Rockford??
