This is such a spectacular iris garden. The garden is on the grounds of the Meiji Shrine near Harajuku station in Tokyo, but you'd never know from being there that you are in one of the most densely populated cities in the world. We were lucky enough to have nice weather during rainy season, have irises in full bloom, and to not have throngs of people to get a shot like this. The river of purples, pinks and whites set against the trees in the background and the simple bridge across the center make this an unforgettable place to meditate (and find that shot!)
