Needs to be seen on a black background, then you can fully appreciate the composition, with boy placed nicely on the thirds and his footprints acting as a lead in, and great use of negative space.
@lynbonn Yes, Lynda! It was ridiculous, and now we have a forecast of show showers on Easter too. But it goes back and forth, so maybe it will still get nicer before we fly back. Thanks!

Thank you all so much for viewing and commenting! He was just walking around in the in-laws' backyard, and "naturally" looked so small and lost in the sudden white vastness. So, the shot kind of offered itself :)
@rob24@phil_howcroft@oly Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting! It was one of the days where I was "glad" for the snow at the beginning of the spring - since it gave me this shot. I am still smiling at it.
@onewing@kimdavis@novab@kauaikris Thank you so much for your comments and favs! I also liked the minimalism and the fact that he looked so cute in that white field.
@californialover Thanks, Ute! That's what I felt like as he "went out" into the big white backyard, having demanded the shovel and the bucket. I am glad I caught it on camera - the snow is gone, but I am still smiling at the shot.
@taffy Thanks! It's very true - Michigan at it's finest. We fly over for Easter every year, and every year it greets us back with heaps of snow at some day. No failing. Real Michigan spring. :)
