I am figuring I really don't like sunny summer days for taking photos. It am in danger of having my camera in a "High contrast black-and-white" mode till the rest of the sunny weather, and I am already getting tired of it. Today, same story: more shadows.
As always, I thank you for all your visits, comments and critique!
I know what you mean about the harsh light of summer. However, I like what you've done with processing in this one. The tonal differences are interesting and give the shadows more depth, imo.
I found out last summer that the shots I took mid day in sunlight just didn't work. I have tried to go out early in the morning or early evening for better light. That said, this is a cool image!
Oh, thank you all so much for your nice comments on the.. yet more shadows!
I guess I would be sticking to them for a while, as there the free "pieces" of time I have most of the day happen to be towards the middle of the day.. I would love to get out more during the early morning or in the evening, but then the kids won't get to school and won't be fed and taken care of in the evening :) So, I would predict more shadows in my near summery future! :) Thanks!
