That's what I overheard in town not so long ago - from a lady talking on the phone. And that got me thinking that if you are working as a photographer, requests of what you might need to take pictures of might be pretty random. As a challenge, I set off (on a very rainy day) today to "take a picture of the rain". Out of all the wet shots, this one I like the most, although it doesn't scream "rain". In a (some kind of grain) field next to our house. Focus might be a bit off on the lonely plant, as it was also windy. But I like it anyway.
As always, thank you for your visits, comments and critique!!!
Many many thanks for all your kind comments on my rainy field shot! I am so glad you found it appealing. I am not usually (as I am figuring out) get an impulse to photograph things that belong to nature, so this shot was also a step in a new direction. I had to think of you, Ute! @californialover
And Bob @bob65 - I very much appreciate your comments, they are spot on! I was thinking too that this shot would probably be best if you could see the "flood" of little details in the middle, and that you can do only if it is a larger format. Thanks for your thoughtful input!
