I officially withdraw my complaints!!!!! by vera365

I officially withdraw my complaints!!!!!

I believe it was me who was complaining about the boring sky in yesterday's shot. Well, today, the nature gave it all. I was biking home after a short photo trip that got me soaked and then dried up in the sun 3 times and then I saw THIS. As I was getting to the spot right in front of the palace, my mind already went over "what settings are right now in my camera" because I didn't want to miss the sunshine on the palace against that sky. And I got lucky! Thanks 365!!!!!! By now it is all gone, and the rain is just pouring down non-stop, but I am glad the drive to take a picture a day got me out today. It got to be my luckiest shot since the start of the project.
Thank you very much for viewing my project and commenting on the pictures. Your input is such a great inspiration to keep going!
Ok, convinced. I could live there:). Gorgeous pov and love that sky drama!

Is this where the Queen went today on her visit to Germany? It is an impressive place made more so by the wonderful light and sky. Great shot.
June 24th, 2015
@sueb47 :) Hi Sue. No, the Queen didn't make it to our part of Germany.... But I am sure she would have enjoyed the grounds here. Thank you for your comment!

@bob65 Thank you - after taking this one and looking back on the first one with the fence, I also infinitely prefer the second one!

@maggiemae Oh yes, we can go inside - We always get the season tickets for the time from March till November (in other months, nothing is going on there and the entrance is free). During the season, it's a wonderful place to be with formal grounds, kids' park and a lot of things to discover.
