Or this picture can also be called "Déjà vu" as I took a very similar one last year around the same time: http://365project.org/vera365/365/2015-02-22 . Last year, I posted it even though there were so many things wrong with it - focus (or the lack thereof), fence links in the way, etc... So, today we went to the same animal park, and the wolves were howling again. And although there were not four together like last time, I liked the result much more - light, focus, and I got the fence thing worked out in this attempt.
Overall, I got challenged a lot today - flying eagles, fast moving foxes and lynxes, fences in the way etc etc.... but I got so many picture I really liked, so I might share them over the next couple of days in my "runners up" album.
Thanks for visiting!!!!
Really beautiful photo Vera, bravo! They are so sweet. I love last year's with all their little faces in the air, but it's true this year the quality of the photo is just on point...
Fabulous capture, I have just looked at the one you took last year which was amazing, I know perhaps you were not so satisfied with the quality but the composition was brilliant.
Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments and such a positive reaction to the wolves. They do howl quite a bit, as we figured out this time. And the person who went in to feed them also told that most of the time, they are howling following the visitors' lead (as the kids start it first). Then the polar wolves at a different part of the park pick up on that, so after that the grey wolves enter the concert as well. It is a magnificent thing to see, and I am happy I could also get it on camera.
