I bet everyone who goes to Trafalgar Square on a rainy day will end up with the picture of wet pavement, giant lions and red busses buzzing around. So, here is mine - I know I can find tons of those on the internet, but now I have my own :)
Little kiddo got a high fever today, so we have to see what we can accomplish tomorrow.
@carla42 It wasn't even a selective color! Just a bit of "drama" filter on Snapfish, as I am posting from my iPad. Everything was so grey and the busses just stood out!
Lovely scene Vera and I wasn't familiar with it so I'm seeing this with new eyes :) Beautiful. Here's to your little one feeling better so you can enjoy your time!
I don't think that many people would come away from Trafalgar Square with a shot like this! It's such a different perspective from the usual tourist view and I'm amazed how quiet it is, you usually can't see the pavement for people. Fav.
Might be a cliche photo opp but you did it well! I was really sorry not to be able to stop and see you last trip - but now there's another opportunity coming up! I'm train-ing from Munich to Frankfurt on April 15 -- are you around?
Beautiful shot - so well composed with great reflections. Trafalgar Square may be a cliche photo op location. The only time I've been in London is one evening. We were on the way from Wales (choir trip) to flying home the next morning. I think Frank and I walked past or through the Square, but not long enough to say I'd been there. So it's all new and fresh to me. Go ahead and cross it off your bucket list. I'm putting it in my favorites.
There may be a few but this is a great example. What's not to like about a big red bus?! So sorry about the weather though. And the fever. On the plus side, see you later!!!
