Rainy Day

.... and the kids ended up painting a lot today, using my old box of Soviet-made watercolors.
The quote of the day: "Mama, why don't you have white in your watercolors? Oh, I know. Because you have lived in older days, and they didn't make white back then." Thanks, kid.

Oh I love this one, it brought back memories. My sister is 6 years older than I am and she had a paint tray just like this when we were kids I was so envious as a child and wanted one just like it when I was old enough.

Hahaha in older days!! You have to love when they say things like that. Mine couldn't believe I was born in the "19's" rather than after 2000 :) I love your shot and the lovely colors - that is a very interesting paint palette, you don't see this kind everyday. Unless it's just the way your pov tricks me!
