Asparagus time in Germany - everywhere from supermarkets to the stands on the side of the road, fresh white asparagus from the fields. I already know that once we move, I will miss it a lot!

@kali66 Here, you see the white covered rows of asparagus earth patches all around now - till it is all harvested. Long narrow "hills", covered with white plastic on top. The asparagus grows inside the patch, in the earth, and is cut through the earth/ground as soon as the tips reach the top and peak through. Fascinating to watch it grow and being harvested. And of course, so nice to eat!!!!
Love the POV and shallow depth of field. Perhaps you will still be able to get the white asparagus wherever you are moving to, just not in significant quantity
