Mainly teary farewells and last dinner with friends today, but that is too sad to post.
We went for our last walk in the palace gardens today, and it was the fairy-tale day with all kinds of activities for the kids. The fairy here was giving away magic powers (enclosed in colourful marbles), so my younger one got a happiness power, the older one got a lizard power (upon request) and I got a marble that enraptures the beautiful day we had today. Very fitting, I thought, as I want to keep it in my memory for a long time! Flying off tomorrow.

@maggiemae Moving back to the US, but first taking kids to visit Russia again before we fly over. Yes, we are leaving behind a gorgeous place that we will miss dearly.
