The Other One

Today my older one who's turn it was to "model" - I am trying to get a feeling for the manual focus on the old Helios lens I got. Lucky for me, there was the little brother around to make him laugh from time to time.

I love manual focus, and if you have a good lens with a tight ring it's far preferable to AF. I mean, I guess if you have kids running around a good Servo AI is preferable, but to me I prefer to have complete control over where my focus lies. Even if it means that I miss most of the time. This is a beautiful shot with lovely bokeh and his eyes are crystal clear. You nailed it.
