I should say, I am utterly enjoying the old Helios as a portrait lens! Manual focus is a pain, as - with me needing new glasses - I can't really really tell I am in focus, but otherwise it is a lot of fun! Since the weather is good, we went to another playground where I caught them for some pictures. Here, the eyes are not really in focus, but I loved his expression and the light and the color of the playground's floor that highlighted his eyes so wonderfully - he is laying on the ground exhausted and sweaty after climbing and running around.
