My favorite photo from the School Expo at my kid's school today. Their school is structured around project-based learning, and once in the fall, they take a night to showcase all the projects that have been completed by kids in these months. From 2 to 8th grade. From investigating hazardous weather phenomena and creating solutions to prevent them, to real-salmon-egg-hatching, protecting Great Lakes from Asian carp, to self-designed robot drag racers, to preventing concussions and exploring possibilities to 3-d-food-printing, to designing own countries including making decisions on their governments, social order etc.... It was amazing.
This girl was showcasing her racer.
Thanks for visiting!
great crop. i like the narrative, kids standing about a little uncertainly, her slightly awkward turn of the ankle, a sense of expectation in the lads behind. nicely thought-provoking
Awesome shot, love the composition and the stories these leggies tell, especially hers - white tights, turn of the ancle making her look vulnerable in a men's world. FAV indeed.
