Vintage Baseball

Historic Baseball matches at Greenfield village - no gloves, no helmets, life music and commentary. I have no idea about baseball rules, but I can watch them for a long time.
Thanks for visiting!
I have become a baseball fan the last couple of years - record the few games they show here during the regular season and then all the playoff games - I can happily sit and watch and the time whiles away hahahaha

Love the vintage uniforms. Wow...they didn't use gloves? Interesting!

It is amazing how much the game has evolved since its beginning. Like you say, no gloves and no helmets. Also no numbers and no names on the backs. When gloves were introduced they were slightly larger than a players hand and now they are as big as bushel baskets! And I believe back then they played for the love of the game and certainly not for a large sum money they were paid! FAV!

@skipt07 It was amazing to watch them caching the ball with their bare hands - such mastery and if you ask me - bravery! Those balls travelled fast, I don't want one flying towards me!

What a classic shot! Simply brilliant. Are you sure that's not rounders they're playing?...😉
