We took a cable car to the (almost) top of a mountain today, and watched these climbers high above our heads on a climbing path to Iseler's top. The only thing we managed with a 9 and a 5 year old is to walk down the slopes instead of taking the cable car back down :)
Thanks for visiting!
@maggiemae I think there is a metal wire running all the way up, and everyone who wants to climb gets a safety harness and clicks him- or herself to the line. At times, it's a really hard-looking climbing and takes people a long time to clibm - there were some traffic jams along the way. I did see some children among the climbers through - school-age, not 5, but still impressive.
Hi Vera, we are get pushed partners this week, I don't know how pushed you are for time, but I was wondering if you felt like creating a levitation shot...? Loads of youtube vids around explaining how to go about this. If that doesn't suit, how about something architectural in HDR? or a panorama of an interesting area in your town? Hope you like one of these and if not I can always come up with something else. Please can I ask you to have a quick look under my bio, all my previous pushes etc are listed there, thanks Vera.. :)
@stephanies Thanks, Stephanie. I am traveling and I don't have my editing tools with me - just an ipad with quick stuff to just upload pictures not to fall behind. I can do the "interesting area" though - it will be in the places I am traveling through though, I hope it is OK.
For your challenge, I would like to challenge you to take a shot of something classical, but either put into a modern environment or presented with a modern twist. It can be anything - from something you see around to a "set-up" stilllife. Your choice. I hope this is OK.
