Fantastic shot. I like how there is a lot of detail with the buffalo and landscape. You got the settings perfect to avoid a complete silhouette.

Great shot. How close were you. Like someone else says your exif is strange. I did this trip about 4 years ago. Was wonderful walking in the badlands. We also saw buffalo, prairie dogs, coyote etc. Fantastic adventure. We went to Deadwood. Well worth a visit. Lots about Buffalo Bill and Calamity Jane including their graves. Also saw the 4 presidents and the horse that is still being carved out of rock. (can't remember what it's called) Wish I was there again. Enjoy
@farmreporter@shepherdmanswife How weird about the settings!!! Unloading to an iPad, then editing and exporting again made it all confused. I was really close to him - about 6 of them came to the road and even crossed it a couple times back and forth. This one was just feeding near our car. I rolled down the window to take a picture.
