We picked up a pile of kids' books at the used book sale at school - all the "usual" favorites for my kid, novels, graphic novels etc etc... But! What has he been reading for the last two days out of that big pile? The book with Shel Silverstein's poems. Over and over again. Aloud, with me or someone else, giggling away.... What fun! I am glad I grabbed that one at the last moment.
What a wonderful book and it's so wonderful to see your boy's interest in reading. My grandson Alex is much the same - and the more humour in a book the better it is loved and reread :)
