Uploading in the Runners-up album with a question: Does it work at all? This is a very high-contrast photo of the rows of beer-tables and beer-benches at the ongoing beer festival in town. I thought they might create an interesting abstract, but now I am not sure.
Thank you for stopping by, commenting and critiquing.
I like the pattern and B&W works well here. That and from the perspective you have chosen it looks like the tables go on forever. So it works for me too.
I really like this. I think it works really well. It's a strong composition to begin with and emphasizing it with the intensely high contrast make it delightfully dramatic. I might've cloned out the dots and spots to keep the lines the focal point in the foreground. That's the only suggestion...and that, I see, as preference.
A strong image and a nice line. I found it a bit confusing and I think this is because of the different lengths of the tables and benches and the different heights.
An image that leaves me undecided if I like it or not. A strong pattern from both the highlights and lowlights but somehow for me it does not all come together.
I really like this, both the composition and the processing. I love lines and repeating patterns like this. The only suggestion I might make it to crop it ever so slightly from the top so that the shot ends on a smooth edge (just a few mm off).
Thank you all so much for your comments and input on the Experiment photo! I am glad you liked it, and thanks for the cropping suggestion, Rachel and Susana.
@voiceprintz Thank you so much on your input! This is great to hear other's opinions, as ... believe it or not... I have not noticed the dots till you pointed them out. Oh the power of the fresh and objective look. Thank you so much!

Thank you guys so much for leaving a comment on the Experiment photo! I think, you guys are exactly right - chaos, that what made me question my original intent, as the final image came out a bit chaotic. Just as you , Bob, I was not sure whether I liked it or not, that's why I decided to ask for others' input, and you guys could put your finger just on the aspect that was - without me realising - a bit disturbing for me. Your input was very helpful, thank you so much for putting your mind to it and sharing your thoughts!
