For the "heirloom" post: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/26854/photograph-a-family-heirloom
Since I've been moving much, I hardly have anything that can qualify as a real "heirloom" with me, except for the old photos. Not only because they are old, but also because they remind me of my childhood. Every time I was sick, I would get a giant box of family photographs to look at in my bed - as a cure for boredom. Mostly taken, processed and printed by my dad, packed in black paper pouches and smelling of old times and history :) I have a couple of those with me. The baby on the foreground, as well as the young pioneer 4th grader are me, followed by my mom with my sister, and two of my dad.
Thanks for visiting!
I guess, yes, Ute - @californialover - although by the time I was born, my dad's interest in photography went down. The second kid was already something one has been through, and I was always wondering why my "pouch" of pictures was much thinner than my sister's :) But it was definitely fascinating to look at those pictures, especially since most of them was the ones that didn't make into official albums, and it was interesting to see these other "distracted" versions of a photo that made it to the official memory keepsake.

Long time ago, but still - thank you so much for your comments on the "Family Heirloom" photo.
