Thanks for the crop suggestions, Phil! Now, here is a cropped version. The description below refers to the original image.
Love this accidental picture, although it has a messy lower right corner - there was my knee as I was trying to squeeze quickly into a door frame to take the picture. Had to delete it, messing up the pattern on the floor. These two were playing in an empty apartment as we were cleaning up, and of course it came to a fight. So, they ended up sitting back to back to each other all hurt and pouting separated by a wall. I wish I would get another knee-less picture, but they did not seem to be inclined to be photographed at this moment anymore.
Thanks for visiting!
great image Vera, i did notice the floor irregularities !
You could go for a tight letterbox crop leaving only two rows of tiles on the foreground and slice off the top too. Try it, You might be surprised and it will create a nice high impact shot
@phil_howcroft Thanks! that totally worked and made sense. It's hard to see a good solution sometimes if you are still looking at the image with that "original idea" in mind, and don't see an effective way to make the image better. Thanks!
Oh dear, fabulous shot, it really tells a story. Very stressful for kids when moving house isn't it, especially as they have nothing to play with because it is all packed.
