As a kid, I loved collecting these "helicopter" seeds, then throwing them into the air and watching them flutter and spin to the ground. Found this little one on the trail to the Grandfather Tree at Asbury Woods. I love that shade of minty-limey green at the base and the way the color fades to yellow on the "wings."
