Wednesday is another dance day, so I decided to go back to the marina and attempt another picture of the wood ducks. It was a great nature day -- I saw a couple of herons and a bald eagle (he was fishing), plus plenty of seagulls (and all the usual ducks and geese). But no luck with the wood ducks. The mallards are not as wary, so you can get pretty close to them. The trick is trying to get close to the ducks while staying away from the geese. At least the mallards stay more still. His head was a beautiful green (although it's a little hard to see from this angle).
