. . . but plenty of really nice acorns during my weekly Wednesday dance/trip to the Marina routine. It seems the wood ducks have completely left the river. There were many many Canadian geese prowling around the shore and swimming around, quite a few seagulls, one blue heron and maybe three mallards, but not a single wood duck. Saw two turtles: one big red-eared slider and one smaller turtle.
