asters . . .

. . . blooming in my neighbor's garden. Because, of course, there is nothing blooming over here.

We get wild asters in nm. They are much lighter in color, and the flower head is about the size of a nickle. They are considered weeds, but I always think they are pretty.

@laurielizard Wow I would love to see them growing in the wild! These were actually much darker than they look in the photo -- more of a plum color.
