Every year I put a book on my Secret Santa list but I never get one. You would think teachers would love to buy books . . . I know I do. Go figure. Well this year I finally got my wish. Our principal Amy was my Secret Santa and she got me this book, which is a take on Little Red Riding Hood and illustrated by one of my favorite illustrators, Melissa Sweet. She also gave me the red and white polka dot socks. I couldn't wait to come home from the party and put on my socks and read my book in my comfy chair in front of the Christmas tree.
