Laurie and I went to a couple of Jennifer and my favorite antique-junk-treasure shops today (Jennifer, I'm sorry you had to go to the grocery store). My treasures for today were two plastic thimbles (one red, one yellow), some yellow Fruit of the Loom cotton rick rack (who knew they made more than underwear?), and these salt and pepper shakers. They are for picnics or camping . . . so elegant, yet so utilitarian. I don't know about you, but when I go on a picnic, I take the paper salt packets from Wendy's. My picnics are going to be so much more upscale now. I love the red lids.
