. . . in the Great Smoky Mountains! We hiked to Grotto Falls this morning. It was amazing! Here you can walk behind the falls. I only found two wildflowers -- partridge berry and cardinal flower -- but the wild rhododendrons were everywhere. This is one is the mountain rosebay or great laurel. We didn't see ant bears but Nick found a spotted salamander and Lily and Jack found a black rat snake. Later we poked around Market Square in Knoxville and ate dinner at The Tomato Head. So much fun!
