Is it happy or sad that the most exciting thing that happened today was discovering a new Mrs. Meyers scent? (It is really lovely . . . ) I mostly stayed on the couch reading, sleeping, and sewing — embracing my inner slug before I go back to work on Monday.

Sounds like a good day to me. School started here this week, but I'm a little anxious for my grandson who starts high school next week in a new city. Hope your year goes well.
