This really should have been a picture of some redbud trees. They were all in bloom and so pretty driving through West Virginia down to Fredericksburg today. But I never found one close enough to pull over on the side of the road. Not to mention that it might have caused a mutiny.

I know the feeling (mutiny) but in my case it usually involves a shoe in the road.

@margonaut It’s good to feel understood. I think of you every time I see a shoe in the road. Wildflowers and Mail Pouch barns are my game.

My family would try to distract me from old houses and barns. Would've loved to see the redbuds. We have a few, but it's really too far south.
