Traditional Chinese Dress by yaorenliu

Traditional Chinese Dress

I adore traditional Chinese dress, I remember Mao’s era, when all we had were grey and soldier green uniforms, I loved to sneak into my mum’s only Chinese dress left from her youth and giggle in secret and mischief.
This is nice to see - made of a satin type material?

I was too nervous to be defected. I guess it is a kind of silk.

Beautiful dress, and did you notice her shoes? My mother keeps wanting me to wear a cheongsam but the high neck doesn't suit me at all.

Yes the dresses are so beautiful and so are the Chinese womens figures. I saw some people walking down the street in the pajamas that was banned during the Olympics. I was given some satin like this from a friend that was in China and made a lovely jacket.

She is very pretty- as is her dress. I also enjoy the combination of tradition (her dress) and modern (her shoes and phone!). This is a perfect picture of how I perceive China- a blend of both ancient and modern.
