Spring is so beautiful. I am going to start “My Garden” series. From time to time, I will get a shot from my garden.
This is magnolia outside my bedroom window. At this time of the year, it is a great way to start the day when the curtain is opened in the morning.
@maggiemae I am always embarrassed when people ask me about flowers in China. I grew up in Mao’s era – there were hardly any flowers at that time in Beijing. Flower, pet, and colorful clothes are considered bourgeois. China is certainly changed and very colorful now. But “My China” is 1970s.
@onewing I did not process it, When I moved my camera from the point I was planning to shot to this place with a white house is behind, I was happy to see the results and pressed my shutter.
Goorgeous! I adore magnolias, they are my favourite trees and have my favourite flowers. These are wonderful, I love that stunning pink against the white background. Fav from me!
