Years ago my friend Wallie the doll maker and I exchanged projects. He made me a doll and I made him a doll quilt. Wallie died nine years ago and today I received my quilt back in the mail from his partner Greg. I about cried when I opened the package. I will be keeper of both pieces for now and remember Wallie fondly when I look at them.
I thought it was sweet too. It's been a long time since Wallie has been gone. I had no idea if Greg kept the quilt and Wallie's doll things or not. I was really surprised to see it.
