Today was a busy, busy day. I drove to Louisville to meet with my sisters and plan my niece Becca's rehearsal dinner. I didn't think we'd ever get things worked out but we did.
It's going to be a nice, intimate affair at the Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse, a bourbon bar downtown. We're serving Kentucky bar-b-que from Martin's BBQ Joint with Ale 8 bourbon slushies as part of dessert. I drove home on Route 42 along the Ohio River. It took me an extra 45 minutes but it was worth it. Gave me time to chill out and enjoy the Kentucky countryside.
