Don't know if I ever shared the story of how Honey came to live with us so here goes — We had Lucy, our 16 year old cat at the time, and Pearl, our cat who was one. Pearl desparately needed a friend to play with and Lucy wouldn't have it. It was in the back of our minds to adopt another kitten but it's so hard to find the perfect one. We decided to wait till the perfect one found us.
In March of 2015, Ande went to Petco for cat food and sent me a photo of him cuddling a three-month old orange kitty that was there for adoption. I hadn't even held her yet but knew she was the one. We picked her up later that evening and changed her name from Cherub (yuck!) to Honey because she was so sweet. She was purrrr-fect and still is. ❤️
Reminds me of the time we went into Sears for a wrench and came out with a refrigerator. That's a story for another time. 🤣
Happy kitty cat day! Looks like Honey have found the perfect place to take a nap. :)
A great story too...I never heard it before. Haha...I want to hear the Sears story too!
