I woke up at 6:30 a.m. to walk a mile on the bike trail to earn my first National Park badge on my Apple Watch. I had to go early to avoid walking in super hot and humid weather. I barely made it — it was only 70º but the 94% humidity is what did me in.
I got home with only 1 out of 30 minutes counted towards my green exercise ring. I was just going through the motions to get my mile in. I still earned the badge but had to ride the bike in the evening to close my ring.
Celebrating 20 years of the Hyde Park Blast. I always love painted window advertisements. Too bad they aren't permanent. The window painters are talented!
