We had left the tailored gardens of Haddon Hall through the sturdy wooden door, set into the stone wall and entered the extensive grounds. This pretty stone bridge was extremely difficult to get close to because of the size and density of growth, by the waters edge.
Great shot...love the stonework...just imagining people walking over that to get somewhere...was it wide enough for a cart? Wonderful reflection too. Certainly worth whatever it took to get this.
@lynnb thanks Lynn. I did manage to get down to the Bridge which was just wide enough for one person to walk across, but very overgrown and gated. Am assuming it's been awhile since used.
That's quite a beautiful bridge. It looks like you photographed it from higher ground; I like the angle. I also like the reflection of the arches in a water, and the way you see two circles.
