@catangus thank you Catriona, I don't really have a workflow as such. Most flower shots are taken whilst pottering in the garden. On a whim. It is the way the flower catches my eye, i might not even be intending to take photos at this point, then return with my camera to re-find that pleasing POV, others things will catch my eye if I am lucky. Rarely go out out specifically for Photos. Like so many others. not a lot of time, but occasionally I do have a play with processing some of the pictures (Bfunky and Photoscape for abstracts and several photos on top of one another, but prefer in-camera-double-exposure if it works, but my camera will only do 3 photos, so a little limiting. Not really mastered layering with masks-hope to learn one day). I think the best advice I can give is move, a bit to the right or left forward backward, can make all the difference to the composition.
