Weekly Theme - Helping Hands

Congratulations to Michael who won last weeks Skyline theme with the photo below.

I spoke to Michael and this is what he had to say...

I congratulate the other finalists for their fabulous photos and sincerely thank all those who voted for my pic. Having the support from so many on Skyline Storm for this particular theme (as well as it being #1 for the week) was very very special given it was the week of Hurricane Sandy, which devastated the New York City region. During this difficult time I've seen so many people lending a helping hand to one another - which brings me to this week's theme "Helping Hands". Please shoot photos that predominantly feature hands in the act of doing something for someone. It could be a supportive emotional gesture like a hand on a shoulder or holding someone, or perhaps physically giving, lifting or carrying something for someone or feeding a baby or tying a shoe lace. Our hands can be very expressive in communicating and working to help others. I look forward to see what you come up with.

Entry Guidelines

Entry to this theme starts on Monday 5th November and will accept entries until Sunday night (23:59 GMT 11th November). 5 finalists will be chosen next week and we'll start voting on Wednesday. Entries must have been taken and uploaded within the time frame only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted in to the final 5.
