Viper's bugloss - Echium vulgare

We used to have a lovely clump of this delightful wild flower in the garden, much loved by bees. In fact it's a relative of borage and like that produces prodigious amounts of nectar. Then Dave went and inadvertently dug it up. I bought some plug plants last year but a little late but they've weathered the winter and are starting to bloom 🙂

Thanks for all your good wishes after yesterday's positive result. Full-on cold symptoms today so spent the day alternating between isolating in the bedroom with windows open and sitting outside under the umbrella - very hot today - travelling through the house masked up, trailing anti-bac wipes, in an attempt to limit the spread of the virus. Heard that Chris who was also at the party has tested positive and K though negative isn't feeling great.

3 good things
1. Waking early at 6, making myself a hot Lemsip and watching the tits flit in and out of the trees opposite.
2. Raw garlic crushed on everything - toast, salad - a natural antiviral. Ok maybe not so good for anyone in my vicinity even when masked!
3. Having not had a cold in 2.5 years, finally getting to use up the past their best cold remedies in the cupboard: Lemsip Max, Olbas pastilles and Jakeman's menthol aniseed lozenges.

Super clear shot, hope you manage to keep this one. Had to laugh at you using up all the cold remedies. Hope the symptoms don't last too long
