"Personal photo suggestions to inspire you" is a selection of other people's photos that you might like, rather than suggestions tailored to you (so you won't get anyone saying "Hi there! We think you might like to try some flower shots this week!"). The photos that come up are like a mini PP - beautiful, interesting and very well done. It's a nice way to discover other photographers that you might not otherwise see.
I've quite enjoyed having Ace membership. An extra album is useful for those days when you're indecisive, or if you want to keep "challenge" or "theme" photos somewhere.
I have certainly spent $20 on far less valuable things!! Five cents a day to have two extra albums, stats to keep track of your shots and tags and to get additional "suggestions" for networking -- It's a no brainer!!
YES! I think it is. But more to the point, Ross doesn't charge a membership to the site, so for me, the $20 is to show support of what he does for us and for his time and effort.
No, I was ACE but to be honest I don't actually miss any of the two or three extra features.

I feel it is worth it, to give something back to Ross, for this site that has changed my life. and for the extra two photo albums - i have so many photos I need to share, that I always need those other albums
In my opinion yes! And being able to have 3 albums is a good way to make us work more to improve, my example, 365 project with my Nokia N8 and also Canon EOS 450D
Absolutely! I waited too long in my first year to buy it. Wish I had done it right at the beginning. Plus, I like to support the site. Ross does a fantastic job
Yes, yes and yes!! It is so worth it. It's great having the freedom to post more than one shot. It's fun to review your stats. And it also gives you the option to edit photos or the info with them without losing all your comments. I also believe that if you are getting anything out of this site, it is a nice way of giving back. It is really quite affordable and worth every cent.
This is my 3rd attempt at the 365, I'm hoping I can use the "I spent 20 bucks, I need to finish it" excuse when I hit a slump. Also, the added galleries would be nice.... :'D

so worth it! My subscription is about to expire but I definitely enjoyed all the perks. (I would resubscribe if I could afford it but I am almost done with my second year now so it's okay.)
I'm with @johnnyfrs . I find I spend enough of my hard earned greens on just getting a crappy internet connection, I rarely spend any more on sites and membership.
But I can count quite a few people who have joined this site after I have mentioned it and they are now ACE members so perhaps to them it is worth it....
I am in my second year so i dont post everyday, sometimes not for a few so i really didnt need the extra albums but chose to opt for them anyway...i felt like i was doing my bit to help out...pay it forward...plus the other extras are handy
@bobfoto@johnnyfrs I'm with you boys. It never appealed to me and I feel my newsfeed gets clogged by people just putting a variation of the same image...I'd rather do that on flickr.

It is realitive to your thought of what (worth) is. Do you need it, no, will you use it, more than likely, will it tell you things you woudn't know otherwise,,yes. I have it, but don't use it to the fullest although I know it is there when I want to look up a history on something I have posted. In the past I have wasted 20..00 and more on things I don't even have or use anymore.
But I still have this ace membership
I am an ace member, but only did this to support the project. I don't use anything of it, okay maybe statistics (who faved your shots, best rated photos).
@myhrhelper I think they get shelved and you can't access them, but if you renew, you get access back. I don't think they're deleted, just put out of your reach.

My one suggestion is more detail on the daily stats. For example, if a photo gets favorited, you can't tell which one it was from the stats page.
But overall, I'm happy to contribute.
